NASCAR’s Hailie Deegan Shockingly Makes use of R-Phrase Throughout Digital Race, Later Apologizes (VIDEO + TWEET)


Hailie Deegan apologized to “everybody who was offended by it” for saying the R-word throughout a Sunday evening Twitch stream.

The NASCAR driver was broadcasting a digital race that she was collaborating in and used the slur to ask a couple of driver who was behind her.

The 19-year-old is the daughter of motocross legend Brian Deegan and is already one of many extra standard drivers in NASCAR regardless of making only one Truck Sequence begin. She raced in NASCAR’s ARCA Sequence in 2020 and completed third within the factors standings with 4 top-five finishes in 20 races.

Her use of that slur comes lower than a 12 months after Cup Sequence star Kyle Larson used the N-word in a digital race in April 2020. That received him fired from Chip Ganassi Racing.
